I don't think we have this for BF3, well mates here it goes! Now what is your favorite kit/setup?
ATM I don't have one, but maybe you guys do. Feel free to discuss your favorite Set-up(s) as well as maybe your thoughts/opinions why it works for you and maybe suggest it to clan mates! I think it will help create variety and maybe make you better as a Battlefield Soldier!
Also, you can share your impressions of certain weapons and other things i.e. Vehicles (land, sea or air), Attachments, Camo, and ETC. Share your tactics if you want to too! I think anything will be helpful.

Agreed ^^^ Support is pretty boss when it comes to ammo support and just heavy fire. Assault always works for me. Engineer has like both worlds of tactical play and explosives. Recon... Honestly is terrible (At least for me)

My favorite was Assault, I like that you can go long range or short. Its more versatile when I was learning to play this game. I almost always use squad ammo for specialization unless someone already has it and is refusing to change his.
Assault Setup:
- M16A4 - PK Scope, Heavy Barrel, Foregrip
Don't use the tact light on this although I think I should.
- M320 - gotta love clearing out squads at bottle necks with these and destroying buildings and light vehicles
- Defib - Easy points, essential when trying to maintain an MCOM Charge or flag regardless of defense or attack, one could always use more hands, unless there is a tank.
Engineer Setup:
Started using this a week before the stupid patch that autospots mines, prior to the patch, I loved mining up the place (thanks kappachow!) Lately I don't use it as much coz mines suck but every now and then you get stuck with a team that refuses to use anything besides recon and support when their are tanks all over and you need them RPGs, still hoping they would fix the damn autospot so that this class gets fun again!
- Scar H - Tact light, foregrip, holo scope (like the mid range and close up, wish the mag was a tad bigger) I used to be opposed to the tact light till I figured out how to turn it off (up on the d-pad) and well I was getting blinded all over the place by it, since I go closer with the scar, i figured the tact light would be useful. - Mines - Repair tool is kind boring, don't know how to use the bot - RPGs - Switch to the air one every now and then tho the success rate is pretty pathetic. Just unlocked the javelin but 2 rounds is kinda shabby.
Support Setup:
Don't really like the support set up now that claymores are on autospot as well but every now and then I like to sit back and mortar the hell out of tanks effective. If you are on a strong aggressive team that can't seem to clear an objective, mortar comes in really handy and can help push the objective. If you are on a weak team that can't do anything its fun to rack up kills while they feed.
- PDW R - Tactlight, holo, foregrip.
can't use the machine guns to save my life and if you had team mates that could actually work with the suppression than it would be great but more often than not they suck so suppression is pretty useless.
- Mortar/claymore depending on the map, CQB = claymores
Recon Setup
Can't use this to save my life. Usually don't get the headshot and end up giving away my position or he runs. Can't really hit a moving target either so I only use this and camp when my team is reallllly crappy and I don't wanna let me K/D ratio take too big a hit.
I particularly like using this at Sein Crossing in Rush at the second set of Mcoms as defenders. Whenever they set the charge on the bridge, you can snipe a good bunch of em trying to protect it from the building just watch for the tank!
- SV98 - Laser sights (switched off), 7x scope (hate how the 12x gives away your position), bipod. Hate the long reload time tho and having to zoom out so waiting to get the bolt.
- Spawn Becon - hardly use it
- Solfram - just unlocked it, no idea how to use it.

Long range its fine but I think close range just needs a little nerf. A burst rifle shoudln't beat shotguns/ full auto weapons in close quarters, but should destroy them in long range IMO.

Well I finally got my "go to" setups. Assualt: *L85A2 (Love this gun, idk why) >Mounts: PKA-S (Holo), foregrip, and tact. light. *G18 Suppressed (pwn hard with this monster) *Med pack (can't stand the M320, I'd rather help my team and get points rather than blasting it away, I can get kills by my skill Lol) *Defib *Squad Extended magazine ( Assault doesn't need any other thing but this, tbh)
Engineer: *G36C ( God gave this gun for a reason, cuz it smashes! out of all the carbines, this one I believe works the best) >Mounts: PKA-S (Holo), foregrip, and tact. light. *G18 Suppressed (again... PWNS!) *RPG-7/SMAW ( I run this cuz most of the time its the most useful) *Repair Torch ( Never really liked using mines.. or some EOD bot... just too boring, also now that mines appear on mini-map= almost useless) *Squad Suppression.
Support: I thought I had this one plotted out... But anything goes for this one, considering you can drop ammo and stuff. * G18 Suppressed as always *ammo pack *C4. I love C4... Nuff said. *Squad Suppression
Recon: Well I don't really give 2 shits for this one.
